Project 1: Delayed Earth Day Tree Planting

Our first little project materialised on the 26th of April seeing around 100 mangrove seedling planted onto the mud flats near Kampung Kuala Teriang. A concious effort in conjunction with Earth Day on 22nd April.

Wendy 'The Seed Collector' had picked the seeds from Kilim river during her kayak trips weeks prior to the date.

Conveniently during the same weekend there were friends and friends of friends who were visiting the island on 'business' or/and leisure. They were kind enough to land extra helping hands... all 9 pairs strong!

Ohww we had fun... really... stuck in the mud & all...! :D

  2. hey,
The first planting was done on 12th april and not 26th. The truth is the initial planting was done by irshad via digi program "Amazing Malaysia". Give some credit-lah.
